UPDATES
IN APRIL AND JUNE 2005
Commission
members held two public meetings—on April 28 and June 30,
2005—to describe how public testimony was obtained and reviewed,
discuss how the Commission was examining the compiled recommendations,
and preview its report. These meetings crated an open forum for
interested individuals, including the general public and health
care stakeholders, to provide feedback about the Commission’s
work. These meetings were announced in the press and invitations
were sent to all who provided testimony and to those who were
originally invited to provide testimony but did not.
